The Card Theory
No-refund policy
Why sales are final
A break spot buys you the cards pulled for your team or spot from a sealed product opened live. Once the product is opened, its contents cannot be restored and the spot cannot be resold. The random outcome — good or bad — is the product itself. Buyer's remorse, a weak pull, player performance, and later changes in a card's market value are never grounds for a refund.
The only exception
If The Card Theory cancels a break outright and the break never runs, every paid buyer in that break is refunded in full to the original payment method, automatically — no request needed. That is the sole exception to this policy.
Rescheduling is not a cancellation
A break that has not filled by its scheduled time may be rescheduled with notice to buyers at the email provided at checkout. A rescheduled break is not a cancelled break, and spots in a rescheduled break remain final sales under this policy.
Our errors get fixed
If we ship you the wrong team's cards or omit a paid spot from your shipment, contact us promptly with the break number and we will correct our error. Correcting a shipping or roster mistake is not a refund — it is us delivering exactly what you paid for.
No chargebacks
Chargebacks are not an accepted way to dispute a purchase from The Card Theory. If you have a problem, contact us first at thecardtheory@gmail.com — every break is documented with the payment record, the paid roster, the livestream recording, and shipment tracking. A chargeback filed on a break that was conducted as described will be disputed with that full evidence record. A chargeback found to be fraudulent — for example, claiming a break never happened or cards never arrived after they were shipped to you — will be pursued for recovery of the full purchase amount plus the payment processor's dispute fees and reasonable costs of recovery, and will result in a permanent ban from all future breaks.
